Professional Experience

In addition to competitive sports, I worked in various fitness studios as a student. With the exception of Fit-Functional, where I was able to work for two years, I often didn't like the concepts of these training facilities. But this was also because I knew that I really wanted to work with competitive athletes and train them for prevention and performance and not just aesthetics. Due to my own past in competitive sports and my reputation for having already learned a lot on my own, various personal training sessions with other boarding school residents followed in the first year before I accepted the job as athletic trainer for the U23 at THW Kiel in 2020. In the following year, we were able to achieve good success with both the THW Kiel juniors and the other athletes, so that I was able to take on the position of athletic director in 2022. I am currently still working in this position and have also trained athletes from the German, Turkish, Austrian and Hungarian national teams. In addition, there are the following clubs whose athletes I was able to accompany in the athletics area: Holstein Kiel (football), GWD Minden, MT Melsungen, TV Hüttenberg, Handballunion Freiburg, TSV Altenholz, THW Kiel, THW Kiel Juniors, ASV Hamm, THSV Eisenach, ECDC Memmingen (ice hockey).

Since 2023, I have also been working as a speaker at the Schleswig-Holstein Football Association and look after the tennis talents from Schleswig-Holstein once a week at the performance center in Wahlstedt. At the latter, I am also allowed to give a seminar once a year as part of the coach training.
